UK Car Theory Test Practice
Terms of use
Last updated 21 October 2026.
These terms cover the UK Car Theory Test Practice app for Android (shown inside the app as UK DVSA Car Theory Test 2026, package net.mydrivingtest.ukdvsa), published on Google Play by the developer Irish App Services. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Irish App Services. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how the app handles data.
Licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the app or its question content, except where the law allows it. Your use of Google Play is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Independent study tool
The app is an independent revision and study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the UK Department for Transport, the Driver and Vehicle Agency in Northern Ireland, or any driving school. Practice questions are written to help you study for the multiple-choice part of the car theory test in Great Britain; the app does not include hazard perception practice, and its mock test is a practice simulation, not the official test. We work to keep content accurate but cannot guarantee it. Passing practice tests does not guarantee passing the official test. Always check current rules and test information on gov.uk and in The Highway Code.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Some content is free. Premium access is offered as weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment. It does not renew and can be restored with the same Google account using "Restore Purchases".
- Google Play processes payments and refunds under its own refund policies.
Availability and liability
The app is provided "as is". We may update, change or remove features or content. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, such as the outcome of an official test. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes
We may update these terms when the app changes. The date above shows the latest version.
